Outside of the box is the best way to define this space. Our clients purchased an old and outdated home with the intentions of truly making it their own- and that is exactly what we helped them achieve. Originally a U-shaped kitchen with peninsula seating, we recommended removing a wall and relocating the kitchen the full span of the space featuring nearly a 10 ft island front and center. We anchored both ends of the kitchen in a deep navy blue and inset white cabinetry between the pantries. White on white penny tile detail perfectly spaced around the custom hood and spalted maple floating shelves. The window placement limited the depth of the cabinetry we could use against that wall. We used this to our advantage and created a separate nook for small appliances that required daily counter space.
